Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Summer Cancer Research Institute
The SCRI program is an 8-week intensive summer program supported by the National Cancer Institute U54 funding to Temple University and Hunter College, thus establishing the Synergistic Partnership for Enhancing Equity in Cancer Health (SPEECH). Undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing biomedical, clinical and population-based cancer research are welcomed to apply. We encourage applications from students of all backgrounds, particularly those from underrepresented minority groups or disadvantaged backgrounds.
The participants will benefit from:
- Hands-on research training
- Mentorship from established investigators
- Participation in cancer seminars and skill-building workshops
- Written and oral science communication
